Postseason contenders have just over a week left to load up for the 2026 Stanley Cup Playoffs before the NHL trade window closes Friday at 3 p.m. ET.
Sellers to keep an eye on include the New York Rangers, who are reportedly considering trading Vincent Trocheck and the Calgary Flames, who could potentially part ways with Nazem Kadri.
One of the top goal scorers in the NHL could be on the move if the Nashville Predators decide to deal Steven Stamkos this week.
Potential buyers include the Minnesota Wild, who might not be done after adding former Norris Trophy winner Quinn Hughes in December, and the Dallas Stars, who have reportedly learned Tyler Seguin isn’t returning from ACL surgery this season.
The Detroit Red Wings and Buffalo Sabres could be ready to take a swing at the buyers’ market after taking steps toward playoff contention this season.
